I've made some experimentation with PYthon, but it's so hard to get everything signed that I gave up.... If somebody would make a signed process for S60 that communicate with J2ME to provide CellID, this would be great... The other option: waiting for new SE phones with embeeded GPS...I am sure that they will keep access to CellID too, so it will be very easy to create the database quickly...
