Peter just pointed me to the announcement site for the First International Workshop on Trends in Pervasive and Ubiquitous Geotechnology and Geoinformation.

Peter’s on the program commitee himself and, officially, I strongly support this event and encourage everyone with a research interest in mobile geoinformation systems and location based services to submit and/or attend. Secretly, of course, I’m green with envy that I cannot do the same thing myself ;-)

The workshop will be held on September 23 in conjunction with the GIScience 2008 conference in Park City, Utah. Paper deadline is May 15.

P.S.: Can you spot the hidden iPhone in the theme & topics abstract?
